This month and last month I have been thinking a lot about the word Love and what it really means. I began to think of the love Jesus has for us and that we need to have for one another. I have never really seen or witnessed so much love as I did last month. As many of you know Spencer donated his kidney for one of his good friends Luke. It was such a neat experience. It made me look up to my husband even more to see his willingness and love that he has for his friend to do such an act. I'm so grateful for him and the love he shows to everyone. He is so Christ like and would do anything for anyone. During his surgery as I waited for him, I wondered if i'd ever be brave enough to do such an act of service, no questions asked. It made me realize how fragile life really is, and how Spencer changed his friends life in just a couple hours. The surgery went well and they both are recovering great! I will always be grateful for Spencer and the example he is to me. I'm so lucky to be married to such an amazing guy. Here are some pictures before and after the surgery. I still get teary eyed looking at them, because it was such an amazing thing to be apart of.
